A while ago, we took the plunge and decided it was time that our old house needed a facelift. Windows were the first thing we needed to replace to make this house both aesthetically more pleasing, but to also stop the noise and moisture issues we were having. Dave came to give us a quote and to answer the many questions we had. We appreciated his honesty and knowledge in helping us select the windows that were best for us. Watching the transformation take place was phenomenal. Who knew windows could make such a large difference in how your house presented itself but also how they make a huge impact on keeping out the noise and keeping in the warmth. Windows were only the beginning of our renovations and we were pleased to use the company that Dave recommended for siding as well. Overall we love the improvements that we did that summer. We also had the opportunity to add the final piece to the overall renovations some time later when we were offered a great deal on a beautiful front door, fully painted to the colour we needed it to be. It was a very difficult removal and installation as there was some settling of the old bay and things were not square anymore. "I would highly recommend these guys to anyone."

We had pre-existing garden doors in the master bedroom where one panel operates as a door while the other panel opens window-style and comes complete with screen. Both doors have top stacking mini blinds built inside the actual window itself. We had a new elaborate deck built on the back out house with a sunken hot tub within it directly outside the doors where one door would only open about 8 inches as it is obstructed by the raised hot tub edge. We knew that this was going to be an issue & we thought we would just have the doors reversed.

We asked a few different companies in town (including the actual company that originally installed them) if they could come have a look and give us a quote. We were told what we were asking could not be done with the type of doors we have and that we would need the entire set of doors replaced at a cost of around $2,300. Dave at WinDoor came and had a look and said he would find a way to resolve our problem using the existing doors. They removed the trimming, reversed the doors, removed the internal built in blinds and reversed those as well. All of their work was done with precise professional expertise at a quarter of the cost.

Both Dave and his co-worker, Martin, were very courteous and friendly, both always kept us well informed of the process and made sure we were pleased with the results before they left. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who is thinking about having work done with window or doors.

I had nine widows and a door removed and replaced by Dave and Martin from WinDoor Installations and I have to say that I would recommend them to anyone looking to do the same. WinDoor gave me options to help me stay within my budget and didn't do anything without my approval.
